My story so far…

Aaron is a 21 year-old up and coming motorcycle racer from Derby, England. His route to the British Superbike paddock is unique, as he spent most of his life playing football and never gave riding a motorcycle a thought. Until one day, he went up Donington Park to watch his Dad on a trackday and after spending a day watching the bikes he left wanting to give it a go himself.

So in June 2021, Aaron took to the track and rode a bike for the first time, that year he completed 6 trackdays and rounded the year off on a european trackday at Jerez. It was at that event when Aaron had a day with Gary Walton from NotSo-Fast Rider Coaching, who was impressed with Aaron’s pace given the lack of experience he had. Gary encouraged Aaron to enter into a club racing championship for 2022, so he did just that.

For the 2022 season, Aaron entered into the No Limits Newcomer 600 championship on board an old Yamaha R6, throughout the year he accumulated 9 podiums and put in some competitive laptimes. He thoroughly enjoyed the year and planned to enter the same club racing championship for 2023.

That was until Aaron was approached at the end of 2022 by British Superbike winning team OMG Racing and their manager Paul Curran, with an opportunity to ride in the British Superbike Junior Superstock class for the 2023 season. He took this opportunity with both hands and trained hard throughout the winter months in preparation for his second ever season racing and his first season in the British championships.

He had a brilliant year, making huge time improvements on his laps from 2022, and putting in some competitive results at tracks that he had never been to before. For 2024, Aaron was going to continue competing in the National Junior Superstock class, unfortunately it was announced mid-season that the class will be discontinued at the end of the year. Therefore, he will be moving bikes to a Ducati V2 and making appearances in British Supersport, Ducati Cup and National Endurance championships.

Aaron is eager to continue his campaign within the British Superbike paddock and bring on board partners for 2024. He said,

“After a great first season in the British Superbike paddock that far exceeded my expectations, 2024 can’t come quick enough”
